The saddles are my own design and are handmade. These saddles are double layered for extra protection and fully waterproof .
The longer sides help them stay in place and give protection from the cockerels spurs which can easily slice into the hens sides.
These saddles are easy to put on as can be seen in the video below.
Colours ( and sizes every so slightly) may vary depending on what materials I have available at time of purchase .
They are standard as XL, please contact me for other sizes.

New saddles design for this year
I have designed a new saddle this year to also protect the top of wings. When hens are in a breeding pen or if they are a favourite of the cockerel they can get mated quite a lot, causing the top of their wings to get very sore and loose feathers. This new design is fitted just like the original saddles with the wing protectors just sitting on top of the wings.
